We have a free installation service you can order if you don’t have time to do it by yourself
You can install the theme by following our instructions. Please note that our guide is based on the new Mint UI that is set as default by Freshdesk.
Step 1. Preparation
You should unzip the archive with files for the theme installation.
- img - сontains the image files.
- css - contains the CSS file you need to add to the “Stylesheet” field.
- templates - contains the HTML files you need to add to the “Layout & pages” fields.
Step 2. Customization
Click on the cog icon in the left sidebar to open the admin section.
Click on the “Portals” in the “Support channels” block.
Click on the “Customize portal” button in the portal block you want to customize.
Step 3. Setting up the CSS styles
Open the “Stylesheet” tab in the top bar on the customization page
Clear the “Custom stylesheet” field if you installed a theme before. Otherwise, this field will be empty.
Move the CSS file to the “Custom stylesheet” field. The code of the file will be added automatically. Also, you can copy the code from the file using free text editors like VS Code, Notepad++ or Sublime Text.
Click the Save button.
Avoid clicking the Save and Publish if haven't installed all templates yet. Otherwise, your users will see a broken layout on the portal.
Step 4. Setting up the layout templates
Open the “Layout & pages” tab in the top bar on the customization page
Clear the template field, for example, “Head”.
Move the template file to the appropriate field. Also, you can copy the code from the file using free text editors we described before (in 3.3).
Click the Save button. Note: You need to click the Save button each time you update a template.
You can preview the changes you’ve made by clicking on the “Preview” button at the bottom of the page.
Once you are ready to publish the changes, click the Save and Publish button.
